MyProtein supplements are good for our overall health. Daily intake of protein help in reducing fat from our body. Today we will discuss about benefits of protein in our body.Protein is in the spotlight these days, with articles touting diets high in protein and advertisements for protein powders in the media. Protein is, of course, an important building block in the body, but it is not the only building block. And furthermore, protein is made up of a variety of substances, with the result that not all protein sources are equal in value. Here are some of the facts about proteins Protein is essential to a healthy heart and a healthy body; animal sources of protein including eggs are better for you nutritionally since they contain all of the essential amino acids; as with most nutrients and vitamins, both too much and too little protein have detrimental effects on the body; and, protein cannot be stocked up like fat but must be eaten daily. Protein is the basic nutrient and plays an essential role in carrying cholesterol and preventing heart disease. The human body in its complexity needs dozens of nutritive substances. The one that stands before all others is protein, or proteins, since there is not one but hundreds of kinds of protein. Here’s what protein contributes We are literally made of protein from our bones to our muscles, arteries and veins, skin, hair, and fingernails. Our heart, brain, liver, kidneys, and lungs are built of tissue made of proteins.Proteins help carry the oxygen that reddens our blood. In the form of enzymes, proteins digest our food, synthesize essential substances, and break down waste products for elimination. When fat and carbohydrates are insufficient, proteins produce the energy we need for life.Proteins in combination with a substance called sterols form hormones, which regulate the delicate chemical changes that constantly take place within the body. The chromosomes, which pass on our characteristics to our children, include protein in their structure.Protein is needed to carry fat and cholesterol throughout the body.
Mixability is very poor and it is very sweet. I don't recommand it.
My protein company shared today how much protein intake is necessary for an individual. The U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines recommend a protein intake of 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. Bodybuilders and athletes need more than this baseline amount. Heavy lifters might need as much as 2 grams per kilogram -- almost a gram per pound -- for optimal muscle growth. While protein isn't the only macronutrient you need for bodybuilding, it's essential to the process. Proteins are the bricks with which your body builds muscle.
My protein supplements are simply the best.Protein is a component of every cell in your body. In fact, hair and nails are mostly made of protein. Our body uses it to build and repair tissue. We need it to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals. It is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood. Whey, isolate, casein works well. Thanks
2 chaps who like to experiment, so thought we'd try Protein Hot Latte. 1st attempt was with milk. Mixability was poor and so to was the taste. Very sweet and taste little like a latte. 2nd attempt was with boiling water. Mixability even worse and the taste unpalatable. Will try making flapjacks with them as to not waste precious protein. I would recommend people just have a coffee and a protein shake in separate mugs.
Innovation done by Myprotein is very good.Brand with over 5 million happy customers. Not a lot of a coffee taste but makes a yummy sweet fix. I enjoy this as a hot drink in the morning, I add a shot of instant coffee or as an evening treat without the coffee.
Not nice exploded like a volcano in the microwave! Mixed! Blended! And it was still lumpy!! NastyGoes Well With:Rubbish bin
It would have been nice if it wasnt sooo sweet. I should have read the reviews before I bought this product. I only had one drink and will be throwing the rest in the bin.
Love my coffee in the morning, found this & thought I'd give it a try, loving it. I don't have it hot though, I mix in a blender as you do get lumps in a shaker, & I add 1-2 scoops of Instant Oats to 300-400ml of skimmed milk, leave it in the fridge overnight & it's perfect for a breakfast shake as I find eating upon waking a chore. Having every day now. Excellent productGoes Well With:Instant Oats
Why on earth didn't I read the other reviews! Soooo sweet it's unbearable. Can't taste much apart from sweetness. Yuk. No coffee bite whatsoever. Also, lumpy lumpy. Goes Well With:Lemon on a pancake
Please please make am unsweetened version. Great idea for a product but way too sickly to drink :(
Mix 200ml to half scoop of latte in a shaker bottle before transfering to a cup and heating in microwave for 90secs perfect mixed froffy coffee..note the mixing is very important if not done in shaker bottle forst it does not mix at allGoes Well With:Skimmed milk
This is crazy too sweet! Needs more fluid than recommended to mix.
It is a shame this is too sweet, it tastes like a latte but with about 4 sugars in. I don't know why MP can't make it unsweetened then people can add their own sugar or sweetener to taste. I won't be buying this again. Goes Well With:Nothing
Such as shame. If it weren't so sweet it would be nice. It's like someone has put 10 sugars in your coffee Goes Well With:The bin
The taste is just right, the sweetness you can compare to about 2 teaspoons of sugar so don't add any extra yourself. My only issue is that even after a very long and vigorous stir there appear to still be little blobs that haven't mixed well. I would probably purchase a blender to blend the final result as I just can't stand the blobs. Overall - good product 4/5 from me. But MP if the mixability could be improved upon.. you're on to a five star.
I can't live without this stuff
Love this stuff. Once u use the shaker it's fantastic.Goes Well With:One to 2 toffee drops
I like the concept of having the protein latte. I normally have a coffee in the afternoon so its a great way to get some extra protein in the bag! However, this product is far too sweet for my liking. For someone who normally takes only 1 sugar in their coffee, this tastes like 3-4. I'm surprised MyProtein, in this instance, did not opt for the sweet free option given people have very different preferences to sweetness in their coffee. Would be great to see MyProtein produce a plain latte version!
