My protein company shared today how much protein intake is necessary for an individual. The U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines recommend a protein intake of 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. Bodybuilders and athletes need more than this baseline amount. Heavy lifters might need as much as 2 grams per kilogram -- almost a gram per pound -- for optimal muscle growth. While protein isn't the only macronutrient you need for bodybuilding, it's essential to the process. Proteins are the bricks with which your body builds muscle.

My protein supplements guarantees the highly quality protein.Digestion typically begins in the stomach when pepsinogen is converted to pepsin by the action of hydrochloric acid, and continued by trypsin and chymotrypsin in the small intestine. Before the absorption in the small intestine, most proteins are already reduced to single amino acid or peptides of several amino acids. Most peptides longer than four amino acids are not absorbed. Absorption into the intestinal absorptive cells is not the end. There, most of the peptides are broken into single amino acids.Absorption of the amino acids and their derivatives into which dietary protein is degraded is done by the gastrointestinal tract. The absorption rates of individual amino acids are highly dependent on the protein source; for example, the digestibilities of many amino acids in humans, the difference between soy and milk proteins and between individual milk proteins, beta-lactoglobulin and casein. For milk proteins, about fifty percent of the ingested protein is absorbed between the stomach and the jejunum and nighty percent is absorbed by the time the digested food reaches the ileum. Biological value is a measure of the proportion of absorbed protein from a food which becomes incorporated into the proteins of the organism's body. Thanks.

My protein supplements results are mind blowing..Vegetarian sources of proteins include legumes, nuts, seeds and fruits. Legumes, some of which are called pulses in certain parts of the world, have higher concentrations of amino acids and are more complete sources of protein than whole grains and cereals. Examples of vegetarian foods with protein concentrations greater than seven percent include soybeans, lentils, kidney beans, white beans, mung beans, chickpeas, cowpeas, lima beans, pigeon peas, lupines, wing beans, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, walnuts, cotton seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. My protein supplements have all those nutrients which a body needs to be fit. Today I'll share some tips of excess intake of protein. The body is unable to store excess protein. Dietary protein is converted to individual amino acids by the digestive process, which are then absorbed. When amino acids are in excess of needs the liver takes up the amino acids and subjects them to deanimation, a process that converts the nitrogen from the amino acids into ammonia, further processed in the liver into urea via the urea cycle. Excretion of urea is performed by the kidneys. Other parts of the amino acid molecules can be converted into glucose and used for fuel. When food protein intake is periodically high or low, the body tries to keep protein levels at an equilibrium by using the "labile protein reserve" to compensate for daily variations in protein intake. However, unlike body fat as a reserve for future caloric needs, there is no protein storage for future needs.Excessive intake of protein increases calcium excretion in urine, occurring to compensate for the pH imbalance from oxidation of sulfur amino acids. The research is inconclusive as to whether this calcium excretion from bone resorption contributes to osteoporosis. A regular intake of calcium stabilizes this loss. But then another issue arising from over-consumption of protein is a higher risk of kidney stone formation from calcium in the renal circulatory system.

Having bought Oat mix before I have found it chalky and a bit gaggy so I decided to try a protein/oat mix for a change. Mightily impressed, very smooth to drink and the taste is fantastic, it actually tastes like it should be unhealthy its that good.

Great protein, cheap , tastes really nice although it is a little sweet and filling with milk, tastes best with ice cold water , mixes great and ideal for bulking as it contains a little more protein and carbs than your average protein powder. However I was a little dissapointed at how long it lasted , myprotein say that the 5kg bag should have 80 servings, this wasn't true at all for me i'm afraid. I took one serving a day and the bag was finished after 59 days.. not great. Not sure if i'll be buying from them again.

I hit a wall with my training, wasn't putting on any weight, first I just bought the instant oats and mixed that in with my protein, but it was a lot to consume at once. I bought this stuff and it is superb: would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to put on a little bit of good weight.
