The unflavoured version is very "plasticky" and not very tasty but the smoked variety was ok.

U cant compare taste,texture with normal cheese but mix with omelette or put in sandwich and it is fine ...i use it in omelette and i cant complain ...super high dose of protein..

I've been meaning to order some of this cheese for quite a while - with just 2% fat, this is an ideal replacement for anyone needing protein, calcium and cheese without ruining their dietary hard work. It's okay as a cheese - you won't be passing this around after a dinner party - but, it does the job in day to day meals and snacks. And it does it without the derailing effect of full-fat cheese. I'd recommend to try it at least - it is extremely mild, but I suppose that also makes it versatile. My only gripes are that I've only managed to order it once as it seems to be out of stock, and the one time I did get some, it had a very short use-by date on it. I've been missing cheese so thought I'd try this as it's lower calorie. And it's fine I guess. The texture is rubbery, like an eraser...and there's absolutely zero flavour. Literally tastes like nothing (the plain flavour, haven't tried smoked). But I still put it in burgers, and have it on crackers from time to time when I'm craving real cheese, and it does the job. It melts ok, but just goes very tough. Goes Well With: In burgers, on toast, on crackers

The taste of this cheese gets a solid 3/5 because it tastes like nothing. Not good, not bad so I'm going middle of the road on that score. The texture however is like nothing I've encountered before, it's very strange to cut and even more bizarre to chew on. Won't buy again. Goes Well With: The bin.
