Mixes well with whey and water. I've listed the taste as only 3 stars simply because I've never really tasted it as I always have this straight after my workouts in chocolate protein and so that masks any potential taste, good or otherwise. It does seem to help with recovery as I've trained with it and then had quite a period without and can see a difference in how quickly any DOMS passes. Great price.
