Love it It tastes just so yummy and contains a good amount of proteinGoes Well With:everything
Tastes just like normal bread. Had heard it can lose its moisture pretty quickly so have just made sure that the bag was sealed. Nice to know I can have a vegan snack without having to worry about macros.Goes Well With:whatever you want to put in a sandwich
This is good protein bread made for this website by Dr Zaks. The issue is the packaging. I freeze my bread as i don't use a whole loaf up in a week, the problem with this packaging is once you open it air just get to it. Would be 5* if they went back to normal bread packaging where you can scrunch up the top.
Great start to the day for me. 2 slices toasted with eggs or melted protein cheese. Big protein contentGoes Well With:Protein cheese for great cheese on toast or scrambled eggs
Tastes great , doesn't make you feel heavy and the same time you feel full.
I bought one bread to try, and as I eat bread slowly I froze it straight away and had a slice every day or every 2 days. It is really tasty and filling, and is very nice fresh or toasted. Highly recommend it, it's a shame it is out of stock now as I wanted to order more. I hope it will be back soon.Goes Well With:Butter, Peanut Butter
Never a bad word to say. Yet. Keep it good and you have my business.
Okay this bread ain't too bad tastes alright nice toasted topped with peanut butter, can be a bit heavy eating folks. 2 slices with a tin of beans fills me up. The only problem I have is it doesn't last long, I had to throw half the packet away after only 2 days and before the sell by date as it had started to go mouldy. Other than that a good source of origen
Toasts really well Good before or after a workout Goes Well With:Jam ,butter
I bought this product twice. The first time it was flawless and I had it for lunch everyday, tasted just like normal bread and I could bump my protein up. The second time, the entire loaf of bread went mouldy 5 days before it was meant to go off. Was very disappointed with it and I'm not sure if I will buy again now.Goes Well With:Any normal spread.
I ordered three loaves all of which arrived absolutely covered in mould. So they had to go straight in the bin. Will be sticking to muscle food for my orders from now on.
Great tasting bread that can replace normal loaves for a protein hot.
I absolutely love this bread. The texture and taste is bang on in my opinion and I'd even go as far to say I prefer it to regular bread. A little calorific compared with normal bread but the high protein allows you to sacrifice the side of boring egg whites or protein shake, which for me is a winner as I don't always have the time or the stomach, especially on a morning! Goes Well With:Anything normal bread goes well with!
Like this product, the bread is good for toast, not as nice as standard bread but it's ok. Great protein ratio. I just really really hope they change back to the older style packaging. The original packaging was like normal bread packaging, resealable, easy to use, hard-wearing etc. The new packaging is AWFUL. It's not resealable which for bread is essential so I have no idea why it was changed. It's also quite brittle for a soft plastic meaning it breaks and tears really easily (and easy to break during posting). There's a new added tray but I'm not sure of the point since you need to decant the bread to keep it fresh anyway. It's a bit hit and miss on dates, sometimes it turns up with weeks on the date, sometimes it turns up with a day or two left - so make sure you have room in the freezer just in case. Other than the packaging, the bread is worth trying if you're looking for a high protein bread just as long as you're ok with seeds as they are quite large in the bread but otherwise recommended.Goes Well With:Poached egg & spinach
A bit dry and stodgy on its own but it makes lovely toast. Goes Well With:Any snack which ends with "...on toast"
If you're looking for a way to cram in a few extra grams of protein then this is a great product. Unlike many other specialist diet breads, this bread is quite versatile - it toasts as well as it could be used raw. So that's why I've rated it 4. However, it's not the right product for me personally. if you're on a calorie controlled or low carb diet, you may be better off with a light bread alternative. Each slice of this bread is 50g and nearly 150 calories with 15g carbs which is three times the weight/calories/carbs of the light bread I usually go for - although granted it's way more protein and much more satisfying. But for me, this makes a slice of bread about half of my meal allowance of calories so it's not really sustainable. The taste is really nice if you like grainy, dense bread and it's certainly filling and if you don't care about calories or carbs then I think you'll really like it. Overall I think it's a great product for cramming in protein but for me personally, I'm not sure I'll order it again... however much I enjoyed my protein toastie!Goes Well With:Protein cheese.
Bought several times and never been disappointed. I keep mine in the freezer and take out bits as I need it. Defrosts quickly. Great as a sandwich, toast, toastie etc. Highly recommend. Macros are great 👍 Goes Well With:Toast, sandwich, cheesy toast etc.
The taste is just how i like bread to be its soft and the texture is on point just love itGoes Well With:Avocados!
I got this bread 3 times in a row now. It's the best tasting high protein bread! You feel so full after. Highly recommend Goes Well With:Almond butter and banana
Great product, tastes good considering what it is in terms of high protein content and relatively low carbs for people looking to stay lean. I have tried this with the my protein high protein, low fat cheese and some normal butter so it's not too dry (my preference) and it's passable in terms of taste, would recommend adding some tomato's and pepper. I had noticeably more energy at the gym in the evening and wasn't overly hungry after as I usually am. Two things to consider:- 1. This has a relatively high salt content (20% RDA per two slices) which is likely for taste so would hope they come out with a low salt variant, so wouldn't really recommend more than two slices per day. 2. This does not come resealable so the bread may go stale. Would recommend the manufacturer reconsiders how this is packaged. Once the two minor points above are addressed, we are on to an absolute winner.Goes Well With:for vegetarians: butter peanut butter low fat high protein cheese
