High protein bread is a great product that allows for this food type to be added into cutting phases used everyday rather than just saved for carb up re-feeds. The Flavour and Texture matches if not exceeds that of most seeded and whole grain breads that i have tried from the supermarket, this can also be bought in bulk and then separated into two slices each and frozen for use at a later date and to preserve it when buying in bulk, also once thawed it does not lose texture or quality which is a major plus. I originally tried this in the form of the DR Zak's version along with the High Protein Pasta which is another great product. This is great to bump up protein intake due to providing around 15 grams per slice which can then be topped up even higher by spreading some high protein peanut or almond butter on top or melted high protein cheese which is also sold by MyProtein. 5* Rating for an awesome innovative product that is putting bread as a suitable food source for cutting diets other than the regular chicken breast and broccoli. I absolutely love this bread. The texture and taste is bang on in my opinion and I'd even go as far to say I prefer it to regular bread. A little calorific compared with normal bread but the high protein allows you to sacrifice the side of boring egg whites or protein shake, which for me is a winner as I don't always have the time or the stomach, especially on a morning! Goes Well With:Anything normal bread goes well with!
Like this product, the bread is good for toast, not as nice as standard bread but it's ok. Great protein ratio. I just really really hope they change back to the older style packaging. The original packaging was like normal bread packaging, resealable, easy to use, hard-wearing etc. The new packaging is AWFUL. It's not resealable which for bread is essential so I have no idea why it was changed. It's also quite brittle for a soft plastic meaning it breaks and tears really easily (and easy to break during posting). There's a new added tray but I'm not sure of the point since you need to decant the bread to keep it fresh anyway. It's a bit hit and miss on dates, sometimes it turns up with weeks on the date, sometimes it turns up with a day or two left - so make sure you have room in the freezer just in case. Other than the packaging, the bread is worth trying if you're looking for a high protein bread just as long as you're ok with seeds as they are quite large in the bread but otherwise recommended.Goes Well With:Poached egg & spinach
I like to combine this with peanut butter for a hefty meal that is tasty. Like all products here its cheap for what it provides you with. There are lots of good offers out there but nothing beats the things that Myprotein brings. Absolutely love the products, so far no concerns only massive gains. amazing offer (valid til protein sale ends) discount code with up to 85% off your first order - Keram-r2 (use capital letters) Share some love and use the code in checkout, you'll make your life easier and also mine. Stay awesome! Goes Well With:Food
A bit dry and stodgy on its own but it makes lovely toast. Goes Well With:Any snack which ends with "...on toast"
If you're looking for a way to cram in a few extra grams of protein then this is a great product. Unlike many other specialist diet breads, this bread is quite versatile - it toasts as well as it could be used raw. So that's why I've rated it 4. However, it's not the right product for me personally. if you're on a calorie controlled or low carb diet, you may be better off with a light bread alternative. Each slice of this bread is 50g and nearly 150 calories with 15g carbs which is three times the weight/calories/carbs of the light bread I usually go for - although granted it's way more protein and much more satisfying. But for me, this makes a slice of bread about half of my meal allowance of calories so it's not really sustainable. The taste is really nice if you like grainy, dense bread and it's certainly filling and if you don't care about calories or carbs then I think you'll really like it. Overall I think it's a great product for cramming in protein but for me personally, I'm not sure I'll order it again... however much I enjoyed my protein toastie!Goes Well With:Protein cheese.
Bought several times and never been disappointed. I keep mine in the freezer and take out bits as I need it. Defrosts quickly. Great as a sandwich, toast, toastie etc. Highly recommend. Macros are great 👍 Goes Well With:Toast, sandwich, cheesy toast etc.
The taste is just how i like bread to be its soft and the texture is on point just love itGoes Well With:Avocados!
I got this bread 3 times in a row now. It's the best tasting high protein bread! You feel so full after. Highly recommend Goes Well With:Almond butter and banana
Great product, tastes good considering what it is in terms of high protein content and relatively low carbs for people looking to stay lean. I have tried this with the my protein high protein, low fat cheese and some normal butter so it's not too dry (my preference) and it's passable in terms of taste, would recommend adding some tomato's and pepper. I had noticeably more energy at the gym in the evening and wasn't overly hungry after as I usually am. Two things to consider:- 1. This has a relatively high salt content (20% RDA per two slices) which is likely for taste so would hope they come out with a low salt variant, so wouldn't really recommend more than two slices per day. 2. This does not come resealable so the bread may go stale. Would recommend the manufacturer reconsiders how this is packaged. Once the two minor points above are addressed, we are on to an absolute winner.Goes Well With:for vegetarians: butter peanut butter low fat high protein cheese
I was surprised how dense the bread was, but still tasty and very filling. Like normal bread, the best before is only a few days, but put it straight in the freezer and use it for toast, which is perfect for me. If you're looking for low carb/calorie then this is not for you. This is good for extra protein hit, a break from the shakes.Goes Well With:Anything on toast
I really struggle to meet my protein goals and I just love bread. I did think that this bread would more than likely taste awful but I toasted some last night and I had a chicken sandwich. That's a massive amount of protein for me :) 30g in 2 slices is great. I just had 2 slices for my breakfast now too :) Excellent product.Goes Well With:Toasted with mmmm butter
Don't really understand people complaining about this bread. Put it in the freezer, if it arrives close to the consumption date. A sandwich with PB, and this is 40g of protein. Filling, vegan, high in protein. Taste really good too. Goes Well With:PB
Great tasting bread that's full of protein. What more could you ask forGoes Well With:My protein cheese
30g of protein in two slices is just amazing. The bread is not too heavy and doesn't fill you up too much. Great for a mid morning snack (I usually use honey or jam) or for breakfast if you want a change from oats, etc. The shelf life is way beyond regular bread (about 10 days from day of delivery) Highly recommended. Goes Well With:Jam, honey, cheese (the myprotein high protein cheese is ideal) or just toasted with nut butter.
Wanted something quick easy filling and if course containing protein for breakfast ( that I could eat in the car)... Not always keen in bread but this did the job. Tastes good, quite a heavy bread but not so heavy that you can't have x2 slices. Tried it toasted but preferred it un toasted... Keeps me going till 12ish...Goes Well With:Peanut butter
It's such a great bread high in protein
Excellent good flavour & goes with everthing 😊😊Goes Well With:Peanut butter or Jam anything really yummy 😊
The bread is bread but with a kick. Its very tasty and fills me up first thing. I split half the loaf and put one half in the bread bin the other in the freezer. once the first half is finished i take a piece out of the freezer each day and toast eat. Works perfectlyGoes Well With:I have it with Smoked salmon every morning
This bread is rather heavy and didnt have a very pleasant texture. Overall price is not justified.
