The seeds of the Flax (or Linseed) plant have been used throughout history as a source of fibre and fatty acids, containing both soluble and insoluble fibre. It is free of added sugars, soy, dairy, fillers, flavours, and preservatives and is cold milled to ensure the powder isn't damaged during the production process.
Flax Seed Powder has a nutty taste, is brown in colour and is an excellent supplement for anyone wanting to increase their intake of essential fatty acids or boost their calorie consumption.

Great to add calories with healthy fats. Recently received very poor quality dusty brown powder non oily in touch . Give me stomach bloating. Don't feel good after. Flaxseed is oxidate quickly loosing potency. Stuff I received this time is like already oxidated old dusty powder. Really disappointed . It's looks like quality went really down now . Flaxseed is, as my review title suggests, a superfood. It's omega 3 and 9 ratio is perfectly suited to our needs. Weird, but true. This makes it a food we should all try to incorporate into our diet. Not easy. Flaxseed has a strong nutty taste and, in powdered form it's extremely dry. I add about 10 grams to my morning Nutri-Ninja concoction. Goes down a treat. Truth is; I don't even taste it. All of the benefits, none of the flavour. Ideal.Goes Well With:Anything that masks the nutty, dryness of it.

I use this product almost every day to make low carb cup muffins, 30g flax powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon stevia/6 drops liquid stevia, 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder, 30ml unsweetened almond milk and 1 medium egg, mix together and microwave for 1m 30s. I sometimes also melt 20g 90%+ dark chocolate onto the muffin and smother it in single or double cream. Tastes absolutely amazing and fits a low carb/high fat diet perfectly.Goes Well With:Mixes well enough for the recipe I use to make muffins but find it too lumpy when mixed into a protein shake.

This product is essential for most diets and has too many positives to whinge about the taste. I wouldn't recommend it with fruit juice, just simply mix with water and get it down you. It tastes just like weetabix's. It doesn't mix well with shakes but put it in there anyway, just shake and drink. Great product but I am looking forward to them bringing out a tablet format.
