Carbohydrates contribute to muscle recovery† after high intensity and/or endurance exercise. Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 1 large scoop (35g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained through consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours of exercise.

I've tried everything I thought would cover this. Milk with loads of fruit/various smoothies, strong sweeteners, orange squash, orange squash without diluting it, various juices... I can't stand it. Imagine the potency of flour but cranked up to 11 and you're drinking it - that's CarBarley. I'd like to know how effective it is but I can't get far without feeling sick. Whoever can drink this, how? I'll probably finish this packet off as a tenner's a tenner but unless they make their way to pill form somehow I think I'll live without it.Goes Well With:Ingredients to bake a cake
