I can seriously recommend this if you're only concern is results. If you're a delicate flower that struggles with taste and consistency - it's not for the faint hearted. I have 3 scoops with 400ml of water about 30mins before bed, and wake up ready to summersault the house - it's f'n great. 5*Goes Well With:Personally, I drink it as a bedtime nightcap.
The chocolate tastes terrible. Horrblie trxture. Does not mix well. Feel very heavy and bloated after. Not nice before bed. Goes Well With:Bin
I purchased the bedtime extreme smooth chocolate and the mixability is perfectly smooth as stated however it does not taste like chocolate well any chocolate I have tasted anyway. Other than that really happy with the mixability when mixed with water it's just like a normal milkshake.Goes Well With:Water
Smooth chocolate flavour is actually gritty chocolate flavour. I found it didn't mix well and it it just got thicker and thicker like wet sand. It was difficult to drink/eat! I'm going to try adding it to Greek yoghurt as an alternative so it doesn't make me gag!
Nice tasting proteinGoes Well With:Mix with milk or in a smoothie before dinner with frozen berries and avocado.. Tastes pretty good!
I bought the Banana Flavour of this product and it is horrendous, the taste and texture means this product is not even drinkable. I would not reccomend this flavour. The flavour is called "Natural Banana" yet the colour of the shake when mixed looks like a radio active green definitely nothing natural about the colour. I will have to throw this product in the bin, after only having it once.Goes Well With:The bin
Only tried chocolate flavour so far, but been using this for a good few months. Mixes well in the myprotein shaker and tastes awesome! Great way to have a chocolate kick before bed and kill any nasty snack cravings. I mix mine up a few hours before bed and leave in fridge - it thickens up a good bit then and makes you feel full! Goes Well With:coconut milk - i mix all my protein shakes with this - awesome stuff
Better than Ovaltine! Easy to mix. I like it with warm milk.
I don't drink protein shakes for the taste, I am just trying to increase my protein intake! I put one scoop of the Bedtime Extreme in about 400ml of water, give it a quick mix with a fork and drink it down! I don't find that it mixes brilliantly, but the taste (Banana, but I have tried the Chocolate too) is fine. If you mix it in a little milk, I find it quite pleasant tasting. It's hard to say if it 'works' or not, I am training lots and still feeling good and losing weight, but I can't say that the protein is responsible, though I will be buying more when I run out. Goes Well With:Yogurt, Kefir, Oats
Absolutely love this!!! I needed more protein in my diet and this is a great way of getting it without extra fats and carbs. I have the banana flavour and it tastes great :) Like banana nesquik... Love the fact that it has the added zinc and magnesium and helps me have a deeper sleep. Highly recommend!!Goes Well With:Bed :)
I train four times a week and my coach recommended this for me post workout . It's very easy to mix ,delicious and really aids my recovery. Would highly recommend the smooth chocolate flavour.Goes Well With:Water I have not tried it with milk Delicious in porridge
Tried the Chocolate Smooth flavour and it's unbelievable, utter inedible. Probably the worst tasting product I've ever had (been trying various different proteins etc for over 15 years now). The flavour is nothing like chocolate and after taste is foul. It's also incredibly sweet but not in a good way, just like so as to not at any calories they just dumped a ton of sweetener in. FYI I always use sweetener in my tea and coffee so I'm not just one of those people that hates sweetener normally. I won't be able to keep using this product.
first time i have bought this product. The taste is way too sweet for my liking, so won't be buying again.Goes Well With:nothing
I have been using MyProtein for about two years and this is the first time I have contacted them after buying a 4kg bag and not being able to consume more than a couple of shakes out of it. They asked for the batch number but refused to exchange it as no other customers have complained. I'm stuck with 4kg of powder that I can't drink without worrying there is something wrong with it. It has a sour taste. I can only describe it as a very bitter malt flavour. Very different from all the other protein powders I have from MyProtein. It mixes fine with milk.Goes Well With:Usually I would say powdered oats, it mixes ok but tastes horrible with anything.
The taste is good nice and light on your stomach after eating 5 meals a day Goes Well With:1 whole banana
Hi all, So Ive been using Bedtime Extreme recently and everytime the next day Ive been getting incredible stomach cramps and going to the bathroom four/ five times that day, with diarrahea, into feelings of what can only be described as bad constapation... I am using My protein Total Protein during the day, one in the morning, one post workout... so im not sure if I may developing a lactose intolerance, or overconsumption of protein perhaps, batch quality...? Ive always used Myprotein for their products and how my body responses to using their products As of two nights ago I've stopped taking Bedtime extreme... any suggestions as to what may be causing the above would be greatly appreciated. Is there an alternative myprotein product could be taking perhaps? I love myprotein and their efficiency and effectivenes Thanks in advanceGoes Well With:Milk
i think bedtime extreme is an outstanding product couldn't fault it at all. When using products like this i try to strictly stay within the guidelines to receive the best results so i do try to take this about 30 mins from bed time although sometimes that may be hard to judge. However i find that if i take this supplement with hot milk rather than cold milk then i am usually asleep pretty much spot on 30 minutes after.Goes Well With:hot milk and a lil bit of whip cream if you fancy a lil treat
I don't leave feedbacks but this one is a must. The Strawberry and Banana flavours are however the most disgusting and must be avoided at all costs. If you mix it with milk the taste is even worse ! Will try a chocolate flavour hopefully it's gonna taste better and i will not have to force myself to drink it.
This shake is brilliant for recovery, I would recover completely from the set of muscles worked out in two daysGoes Well With:I prefer milk but it's good with water too
I've suffered with waking up from hunger after hard work outs for years, now I'm a bit older I find it harder to deal without the sleep. A friend recommended the bedtime extreme. Two and a half scoops of this with 200 ml of milk stops me from waking up. The Strawberry and cream and Banana flavours are however rancid and must be avoided at all costs. Its all about the chocolate. The strawberry just tastes overly sweet and artificial and the banana mostly tastes of the casine. Goes Well With:Milk.
