Myprotein Figure 8 Straps are a fantastic training accessory to help enhance lifting technique and reduce premature grip fatigue.
These heavy duty cotton straps are the ideal replacement for the traditional lifting straps which are known for their impractical and uncomfortable design.
The Myprotein Figure 8 Straps are designed to loop over the lifting bar whilst your wrist is secured through both hoops. This creates a grip which can be used for both over hand and under hand lifting techniques to provide a secure grip on any size bar.
Unlike traditional lifting straps, figure 8 straps can be adjusted at any stage during your lift without having to unwind straps. For added comfort and support, each strap is constructed with padded foam sections to protect your wrists.
Please note that the labelling on this product is provided in English as a minimum. French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish and Finnish may also be present on a product by product basis.
Place wrist through one of the loops and pass the second loop underneath the bar. Feed your wrist through the second loop, securing the bar in place. Grip the bar and the strap securely before performing your lift.

These make a great addition to my power days where i am maxing out on deads, they provide a strong and secure grip to the bar allowing for me to use up to 180kg confidently without the bar slipping and are also compliant with gyms that do not allow for the use of chalk. Absolutely fantastically simple piece of kit, could not lift more than 140 kg on dead lifts because of grip fatigue and then went to 170 kg in 2 sessions! I use them for all my dead lifts now and can't wait to see what I'm really capable of. What's also nice is that I don't need to over under grip any more
These straps are too big!. I have large wrists and have used the Eddie Hall ones and they are a far more useable product. I guess you can't get it right all the time!
Only used these a couple of times so far but quite happy with them. Take a bit of getting used to and don't fasten as tightly as traditional straps, don't know if part of that is because I only have small wrists. Good addition to the gym bag though for the price and gives me another option as well as my old faithful straps that I've had for 20 years and my powergrips
These are phenomenal, exactly what I needed! I was struggling to do more than two reps at 160kg deadlifting, but with these I've just smashed three sets of six reps at 160kg! Buy these, they are brilliant and pave the way for an Eddie Hall 500kg deadlift (we can all dream!)
After surgery for replacement knuckles, I am unable to lift heavy weights. Just purchased some figure 8 straps, and can now pull 80 it with ease. Must highly recommend this training aid.
Figure 8 straps are what I swear by as I am aware of my raw grip strength than normal wraps giving me the misconception of my grip limits.
Works great. Been using the old style straps for years but these simply work better. There is abit of initial movement as the straps take up the tension, but once locked they stay locked, with very little discomfort in the wrists due to double padded wrap, rather than a single one for old style straps. And it's nice to actually hold the bar directly rather than holding the strap wrapped around the bar. These Fig8 straps so far have no slip, no issues with taking 200KG+ deadlifts.
Straps are of good quality but feel big for a standard barbell even with average size hands and wrists. I reverted back to my old conventional straps but thought these would be quicker and more suited on competition days. Goes Well With:Barbells

These do the job, they are easier to use than traditional straps and get on and off etc. However, you can't really get them as tight or as firmer grip. Still, you can keep hold of the bar and train the parts you're trying to when you are tired without worrying about grip. Goes Well With:Training hard.

Disappointed hugely with these, the loops are FAR too big, and unadjustable, therefore making them almost useless, the loops are that big it almost makes your hand slide right out of them, I tried them whilst doing deads and shrugs and still find that the normal wrist wraps (the ones you have to keep twisting to make tighter) FAR better, wouldn't advise these at all. I wanted to try some straps after my grip started slipping with heavier deadlifts. This was especially important after moving house and having to workout on tiled floors. Dropping 90kg on the floor might have lead to divorce! I was amazed how much difference the straps made, I feel like I can go heavier and no fear of dropping damage. Highly recommended. These are great for deadlifts and such, though for me I wear wrist sweat bands so they fit correctly. Just to let you guys know they are great for doing rope type chin ups. Just drape them over a pull up bar. The middle, stitched together part sits on top of the bar. You grab the 2 looped bits together. It's a bit difficult to explain, but when you try it you should find the padding portion of the straps sits directly below your hands so you won't slip of the bottom too easily, yet they still give you some grip work. You can also stick your hands/wrists through the loops if you want to. Allows much better shoulder rotation on chinups and better range of motion. I never do normal chin ups now.
These straps are fantastic, unlike normal straps which you normally still have to grip these allow you to take a loose grip so you can use your energy for lifting rather than gripping. There is soft padding around the wrists so the straps are really comfortable as well.
