What are the best Omega-3 supplements?

Those providing a minimum of 250–500mg combined EPA and DHA. All of our supplements, including our essential Omega-3 Softgels, meet these criteria and then some!


When should I take Omega-3 supplements?

It's more important that you take them as opposed to when, but first thing in the morning with breakfast or last thing at night before bed are great habits to get into. Directly after training may not be best as it can interrupt the adaptation and recovery process.


Are Omega-3 supplements vegan?

Not all, as many come from animal sources. However, we stock a range of vegan-friendly products including Omega-3s - sourced from marine algae.


Are Omega-3 supplements vegetarian?

Not all, however, our vegan-friendly Omega-3 - sourced from marine algae - are gluten-free.


How much Omega-3 should I take daily?

EPA and DHA are the most useful types of Omega-3 fats, and they are found in fatty fish and algae. Various health organisations recommend that the optimal daily intake of these fats is between 250-500mg combined.


What's the difference between Omega-3 and fish oil?

Fish oils contain Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and D, whereas Omega-3 supplements are a more concentrated dosage of just those fatty acids.
