I mix it in a smoothie with 2 frozen bananas, almond milk and raw cocoa powder and it tastes alright. The price is good if you're just going to add water/plant-milk, but when you're adding fruit and powder everyday it adds up so it's not really that cost effective so I'm trying the women's best vegan cookies and cream protein in hope that I'll be able to drink it with just water or a plant based milk. Not sure about how it blends in a shaker as I haven't tried it but it blends well in my nutri-bullet. This is a great extra source of protein (it's not essential but it is very convenient if you want to get extra protein in) and it's amazing that myprotein has introduced vegan options. :)Goes Well With:Bananas, cocoa powder, ice and plant based milk.
Like all vegan proteins this one is a little chalky. I first used it in my shaker and wasn't impressed with mix ability however - when used in my nutribullet it tasted 1 million percent better!!! If you're using it in a shaker drink it quickly because if separates v fast. Goes Well With:Cinnamon Nutmeg Almond milk
When I read the reviews of it tasting awful I thought it can't be that bad..... welp I literally cannot drink it without gagging and almost throwing up. I'm two mouthfuls in and I've had to give up. This stuff might be great but getting it from shaker to stomach is impossible. I'm gonna force myself to get the rest of my first shake down but most likely I'm going to be returning this product. I was really hoping this would taste somewhat decent :(Goes Well With:The bin
I wrote mp an email complaining about the change in taste the sweetness overload with sucrolose and the batches dissimilarity. It seems they don't care nor want to listen. A decent non dairy blend is needed and you are almost there but stop changing it every single batch. Use stevia instead please It is harder enough as it is eating non dairy protein please listen to us the end user. Goes Well With:I have it with avacado banana almond mild unsweetened and three but butter, throw in some blueberries for good measure
It came torn with the powder spilling out everywhere and the plastic scoop in pieces. Really not happy and will never be buying from MyProtein again
Its very nasty and grainy, its not even possible to mix it or make it taste better and the grains irritate your throat.
First time trying this vegan chocolate protein powder, the taste is a bit too sweet for me so I add in some raw cocoa powder which does the trick. Goes Well With:Plant based milk e.g. soy/almond, frozen bananas and raw cocoa powder blended into a smoothie.
I used to purchase this regularly and it used to taste neutral, mix well and was effective. Got a new batch recently and was shocked as to how different it tastes, it is almost unpalatable. Not sure what has changed in the manufacturing but MP need to revert back
The chocolate smooth tastes great and mixes well with plant milk, haven't had it with water. The unflavored tastes bad as the title says it tastes like flour. I have been using half a scoop of the unflavored with 2/3 scoop of chocolate which makes it taste okay with a banana and some oats. I have also used the unflavored when cooking protein brownies and pancakes. The taste is kind of overpowering so if you do make something like this make sure you put lots of sugar in it. Also I use a blender to make my shakes so don't really know what the consistency is like in a shaker.Goes Well With:Oat/soy/almond milk

I've been using another brand of vegan protein for a few years that's delicious and mixes well, but I've been using a lot of MyProtein products lately and have been so impressed that I decided to give this a try. I really regret it. This feels like drinking grit and tastes like cardboard. Such a weirdly low quality product amongst an excellent range.Goes Well With:Your bin. Or at least a held nose.
I had previously mixed my own blend using pea and brown rice protein but thought I'd give this a go. Equally as foul tasting but that's not really the point. Very easy to digest with a good protein profile. I just mix the unflavoured variety with as little water as possible and knock it back. I started using vegan proteins even before I turned vegan because I used to find whey bloating. Will continue to use this as it's just what I need.
After seeing all people and there reviews was wondering if this would be to sweet but it is really nice. Perfect with my rolled oats.... Excellent -mate a difference and has helped me loss weight and gain muscle Goes Well With:Rolled oats
I have the unflavoured vegan blend. First things first, it is not a sweetened whey drink full of rubbish, it's a natural plant based highly nutritious protein supplement, therefore it tastes earthy and not sweet and artificial. It's something to knock back and enjoy the goodness, so in a way it's more satisfying knowing it's natural. No stomach or digestion problems. Excellent product.
I bought this as alternative to dairy. It is DISGUSTING. I'm gutted. Had to throw the whole thing away. I wish I'd read the reviews before buying :-( Goes Well With:nothing!
I purchased this protein to try something new, however I am extrnenely unhappy with this particular flavour. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this as it does not mix well with other products. Customer service were not helpful when I asked about possibly changing the flavour, as the chocolate is far too over powering and quite frankly it makes me feel sick!!!! It's tastes very artificial and leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Maybe the unflavoured would be a better option. Goes Well With:Nothing.
For anyone wondering whether this actually tastes as awful as some of the comments let you to believe, the answer is yes and no. It does taste like its components, as vegan protein is not tasteless like whey. I have never tasted a vegan protein powder that didn't have an earthy taste to it and a less refined mouth-feel than whey. Anyone tasting this and expecting whey will be disappointed. As vegan protein goes, I feel including multiple sources of protein does round out the natural taste quite well, and the price is very low for a protein powder of this quality. The chocolate isn't overpowering either, which is nice. I don't mind drinking it with water, but I would recommend using milk or a vegan substitute for shakes. Mainly I use it with porridge, for which it's perfect. tl;dr: If you want protein shakes that taste like whey, get whey. If you've had soy, pea or rice protein for example, don't mind their taste or mouth-feel, and feel like not ingesting large amounts of soy on a daily basis, get this. Goes Well With:Porridge
I have no idea of the effectiveness as I cannot stomach this! I've tried mixing it with oats, flavour drops, fruit and still have an overwhelming taste of the powder which doesnt mix very well! Would not recommend!
Oh my! I made the mistake of buying a 2 Kgs bag. I got this proteins today and tried them in the gym...after 1 sip they made me sick. Literally. They are super sweet. And...I cannot really describe the taste. Very unpleasant. And after 3 hours, just the thought of it makes me sick. I had to block my nose to finish drinking the shake and not feel the taste. I cannot talk about the results as I don't think I can carry on with it. Terrible. Goes Well With:Nothing. Unless your mouth is taste-free.
Switched to vegan blend a couple of months ago, everything has been going well. Seen results, I was happy, this months purchase however came unflavoured... big mistake. Apart from that quality product through and through none of the stomach issues I had with whey.Goes Well With:BCAAs and Creatine
