I bought chocolate smooth, it tasted good. I used more liquid than recommended because it mixes very thick. I previously bought pea protien that tasted vile, so I now mix these two together and the taste of the pea protien is tolerable. On its own, the soy chocolate is good.Goes Well With:Any liquid, and a banana .
First of all its lovely strawberry cream tastes delicious i have it with almond milk and it tastes just like strawberry angel delight. Problem is it has that consistency. Now i like it i got soy cos whey doesnt seem to agree with me and i dont know if its the soy or the fact that it has become food and not a drink for me but my stomach feels great on this stuff, so its great for me but this is terrible at mixing and being sold as a pudding would be more accurate. It tastes great but is not good for a quick protein increase on the go.Goes Well With:Almond milk.......A Spoon!!
I normally have whey protein but recently discovered I have a milk allergy so tried this. The best way to describe this is angel delight... it is so thick it doesn't come out my shaker. It should be sold as a dessert mousse. Make sure you take a spoon with you to the gym.Goes Well With:A bowl and spoon.
I'm sensitive to milk proteins and this is a good alternative. The texture and taste are fine but it would be good if they introduced coffee and or banana flavour. I like it because it doesn't have added carbs so is useful when I'm keeping a close eye on my carb consumption. It must be really difficult to make coffee flavoured sports drinks, gels etc as there are so few on the market. It must be a taste people like or we wouldn't have so many coffee shops.
Tastes great and is not heavy. It is very dense, though. I could only eat it as a puddin sort-of, with a spoon. Since my intention has never been to take it with a shaker right after workout it works great for me.Goes Well With:sweets.
The taste on its own is an issue but I mix with bananas and ice and it's great (and ofcourse milk)Goes Well With:Bananas, ice and milk
Awful stuff. I've had in the past varied flavours of whey isolate and whey protein which have all been absolutely fine. This stuff is bizarre. When mixed with fluid it turns into this awful gloopy slop 😝 Like porridge !..Real thick stuff, as if it has an added thickener in it ? I much prefer my shakes the consistency of a normal milk shake. The whole bag has been binned. I'm not really a fussy person and don't like to waste money, but there's no way I could attempt to finish this stuff. Goes Well With:I tried with almond milk, cows milk and water but still the consistency was like porridge.
Flavour: Unflavoured. I can generally stomach a lot, but this stuff is just the worst. The texture is so bad, it's thick like cement and gloopy. I actually turned my shaker upside down and it took about 10s to drip out. I added double the water and it was almost just as bad. Unfortunately I was not allowed to get a refund. I wish MyProtein put a warning on the product that it's basically cement.Goes Well With:Bricks
I've bought this product and was a bit sceptical because soya products usually test like chalk but this one is not too bad. I'd say it taste better than some whey protein...Goes Well With:Armond or rice milk, awful with water though..
I get the odd lump as I don't use a mixer but the taste is good and it's very filling.Goes Well With:Water, Koko or other nut/vegan milk
Taste is really good. Not like pea protein at all, really palatable.Goes Well With:Berries
Would highly recommend the chocolate flavoured one. So far I have only been using it for mixing it in with my foods (mainly porridge) but it is so tasty! The powder itself smells like drinking chocolate powder, its lovely and great to bake with too. I haven't tried it as a drink yet, but I can imagine mixed with almond milk it would be quite nice. I have found it very useful for upping my daily protein intake, will definitely be buying more of it. Goes Well With:Porridge, pancakes, baked goods
I take this supplement because I have a severe dairy allergy so it is a good source of protein instead of whey. The i have tried bulk powders protein but it was absolutely disgusting when I found out about my protein I ordered a bag of chocolate smooth it was amazing out of all the powders I have tasted this clearly my number 1
Good basic protein. Could taste better but it doesnt matter because I mix it always with juice or something. Could definately mix better! Leaves easily nasty lumps... But still as on title, THE only option for me because my stomach cant stand whey.Goes Well With:Tough Powerlifting
I was quite impressed by how easily it was mixed in a shaker. Smells just like ice cream (vanilla flavour) and tastes just like soya ice cream. You do get a slight 'cardboard taste' (very mild) but theres no getting away from that when its soy, just like soy milk/ice cream/etc. Being lactose intolerant this is the best option I reckon. Far better taste than other non-dairy proteins I've tried.Goes Well With:Water
I have turned to a non diary protein due to the whey protein giving me spots which I expected, as I get this with all diary products, although I still can have it once a week. I ordered the vanilla flavour soy protein as the chocolate whey protein is a bit sickly for me. I made it as usual and did find it mixed a lot thicker than the whey protein & therefore had to add a lot more almond milk & a bit of water. I find the vanilla taste of this is delicious and once you add more liquid the texture it just a notch down in comparison to the whey mix. Nice recipe to make is 1 scoop powder, 300ml Almond milk, handful of frozen blueberries, ice & blend. Tastes like a blueberry muffin - great for breakfast! :) Overall a decent non dairy alternative.Goes Well With:Almond milk & a blender
Decided to get this because I've managed to slowly become allergic to wheat over the years and wanted something that didn't bloat me up. Flav: Smooth Chocolate. I have mine three ways. 1) In oats Protein boost in a morning, oats, water (plenty of) and a scoop of powder. Topped off with some sugar free syrup. Mixes well and makes for a cracking breakfast. Tastes lovely. 2) Midday shake teaspoon almond butter, couple of drops of baking essence (caramel), 300ml water, 2 scoops protein. Almond butter makes it a lot thicker but it's thick and creamy, mixes well with water and done in the blender. 3) As-is Just plain ol water and it tastes great. Goes Well With:water and a shaker ;-)
The Chocolate Smooth flavour is very nice and goes well with unsweetened Almond milk. It tastes quite sweet so great as an alternative to a sweet treat.Goes Well With:Almond Milk
Without the fun flavours the whey has to offer I purchased the unflavoured with the MyProtein FlavDrops to create my own. I love the thickness of the shake if only 250mL of water is used. The thickness is a huge bonus as I want the ease of just using water and whey tends to taste like powder and water and is very liquid-y. Mixes amazingly well and fast and the taste doesn't taste like soy. This is the best non-dairy protein powder I have ever tried. I recommend unflavoured and adding in your own flavourings.Goes Well With:Water, Oatmeal
Don't use as a shake as mixes not that well but makes an amazing mousse and topping for protein brownieGoes Well With:Almond milk and water
