What is Protein Porridge?
Protein Porridge is a tasty, high protein snack ideal to consume in the morning as part of a healthy breakfast or at any time throughout the day when looking to increase protein intake. Each sachet will provide over 13g of protein sourced from whey protein concentrate. The carbohydrates come from low GI, rolled oats to provide a slow release of energy into the blood as well as providing a very low sugar content.

Add 120-200ml milk (the less milk the thicker the Porridge will be) Put into a microwavable bowl and then empty 1 sachet into the liquid and stir. Microwave on full power for 90 - 120 seconds and stir halfway through.
Warning: Contents will be hot when taken out of the microwave. Microwave instructions are based on an 800W microwave and may need to be adjusted according to the power of your microwave. Do not add hot liquids to your blender bottle.

I bought a couple of these samples to have after early morning cardio at work, and I was so disappointed :( I tried one with just adding hot water like the packet says, it didn't thicken up at all even though I only used 200ml water and not the full 250ml suggested. The second batch I made with hot water and microwaved to thicken it up - it was a weird grainy texture that hadn't mixed well albeit slightly thicker this time. I got halfway through and gave up and went and had a slice of protein toast instead!!!Goes Well With:Nothing
I don't really like the taste of it, it's unnatural. The oat is too big.
Not the greatest porridge ever, the sweetner makes it really really sweet, and I can never get the consistency right, it always ends up too watery! Fills me up though so can't moan about that!
The instructions on how to prepare this have to be wrong . It makes a very watery porridge where the oats are not cooked! As well as this it tastes so sickly sweet. Such a shame as the protein powders are great thought this would be a better product.
Bought this in about 4 different flavours. After making each one and tasting I threw them all down the sink. Its sickeningly sweet. Silly amount of sweetener added to it. Def wont be buying again. Better off mixing your own whey in with itGoes Well With:A bin bag
I use MyProtein a lot and really like their products and will no doubt continue to use them. However, if I ever taste the strawberry flavoured protein porridge again, it'd be too soon. Maybe it would have been better with milk, but with water as suggested it was difficult to eat. It was like chewing on lumpy protein shake, for 10 whole minutes. The sweet strawberry flavour tasted cheap too. I think if i were to try protein porridge again, I'd have to go unflavoured.Goes Well With:Only tried it with water - not good.

Was taking part of Duke of Edinburgh and found this porridge a tasty breakfast which helped me last the whole day! Also had in the morning of a training day and was extremely effective ! Love the taste of the chocolate flavour and would recomend massively!Goes Well With:Strawberries

Tastes really good but struggled to mix it, tried it with both water and milk, in the pan and the microwave and both times even with the recommended amount of water it resembles more of a hot shake rather than porridge. better off just putting whey protein in with your normal oats.Goes Well With:Breakfast
Not nice at all - far too sweet & sickly. Very artificial strawberry taste & you can practically taste the sugar!
1st spoon was OK but then it's just horrible lumpy and jus ewww... Just chunks of porridge with whey on in it....
Sorry but the strawberry flavour is far too sweet for me, I could only manage a few spoonfuls and had to stop, i am pretty gutted as at the price it's a great snack or breakfast top up but just too sweet tasting for me I'm afraid! Goes Well With:Milk mixed easily
