I find the maple syrup flavour too sweet. But the unflavoured one is perfect. It can be eaten as it is or adding some raw cacao powder or cinnamon to boost the flavour.Goes Well With:Yogurt, berries
Had these this morning with the fiancé. Mixed easily with a whisk in a bowl. Buttered pan and dolloped in a scoop of batter. Cooked quickly however way too sweet! Had to spread with Bertillon butter rather than the sugar free syrup we bought. Very eggy and can dry out if you wait till the bubble up lots like regular pancakes s cool them nice and quick! Rise nicely when cooking then collapse...again probably due to density/eggyness. I could eat 4/5 regular pancakes but felt full after 2...as did my fiancé...who thanked me for a lovely breakfast! Will use up the rest of the batter and refrigerate pancakes to have as snacks.Goes Well With:Butter Bacon Cheese
I loved the pancakes. Add a little coconut flour. Tastes amazing. Goes Well With:Peanut Butter
Good tasting but can get sickly after too many !Goes Well With:Maple or toffee syrups !
It's great! I found at first the aftertaste is bad if it's not mixed well and cooked throughly, I find milk works best and it does combine well and after getting the cook correct it's lovely a certain treat that's for sure. What I'd say is it takes longer to cook than a conventional pancake but defo worth the wait! I will be buying it again that's for sure Goes Well With:Butter, cinnamon or lemon
These protien pancakes were fantastic. Made with water rather than milk really tasty and filling for a Sunday treat breakfast.Goes Well With:Banana, blueberries and syrup
Great amount of protein a day easy to make. Glad I got unflavoured. The texture is rubbery though.
Good macros, doesn't taste very good at all! even with syrup!
These actually taste fairly good but you definitely need some sugar free syrup or honey on them to moisten. Great nutritional content!
Maybe it's just me but I've tried making these 3 times now and I have failed... Could somebody please give me some tips on making them?! HOWEVER, I absolutely love the taste of them and it's a great sweet treat.Goes Well With:Fruit, yogurt, MyProtein's sugar free syrups!
This stuff is fantastic. So filling a flavourful. I had a friend try it and said he preferred it to regular pancakes!Goes Well With:Bacon
Nice taste, texture ok, although mixes a bit clumpy by hand. Nice with some peanut butter or Nutella if you're feeling like a cheat. Goes Well With:Peanut butter
I think this pancake mix is great in itself, but the flavour is revolting. I got a 1kg bag of golden syrup and I've only had 2/3 servings out of it as I just cannot stand the taste. It's bitter but sweet at the same time and I just couldn't stomach it. The plus of this mix is that it's SO easy to make. So I've bought the unflavoured mix to try that out. You can make pancakes or waffles which is great too if you have a waffle iron.
So imagine the scenario you go online and see thousands of recipes for Whey Protein pancakes.. You try and make some but they just don't look right or taste right... And so you come across a ready made version enter myprotein's pancake mix... These things are amazing I've had the golden syrup and maple syrup versions so far and both are fantastic and very filling... they remind me of Dutch Pancakes - and with a drizzle of either the sugar free maple or sherbet lemon syrups is amazing.. Another fantastic product by what I consider to be the best protein company on the market.... One thing could you please do a Cinnamon Swirl version, that would be fantastic.....Goes Well With:Berries , Syrups , Greek yogurt
I cannot recommend these enough. Have been mixing 2 scoops with 125mls of unsweetened soya milk. Here's how I get them perfect. Heat a pan with some oil in to a high heat, then pour the oil into a dish for use later. Then take the temperature down to quite a low heat and put the mix in, don't worry about making a huge pancake, they tend to inflate a lot when they're cooking so just made a circle about the size of a fist. COVER THE PAN to get the top cooking a little so when you flip them mixture doesn't splatter everywhere. Then just repeat using as little oil as possible. About 300kcals and a huge amount of protein, have ordered a 1KG pouch of maple syrup flavour because it tastes incredible and they are totally guilt free! Goes Well With:Blueberries, chopped banana.
Only ever really used whey as a supplement so was unsure how pancakes could work. I use milk with the powder and it mixes very quickly and easily. The texture of the pancakes is more crepe-like and not fluffy. However for 35g of protein, low sugar and low carbs and a great taste it's a fantastic product. I have only used the maple syrup flavour and it's awesome. Goes Well With:Flora
I look forward to these every morning. They are a little dry but taste great so I add the no sugar syrup my protein supply to them to moisten them up. Mixes so well and take a couple of minutes to make. Eating clean can be really boring and tough but I really look forward to these and the skinny protein cookies. I'm a 120lb women and I find the 2 scoop serving is way too much. it fills me to the point my belly want to explode so I use 1 scoop with 70ml milk and its perfect for me. I eat 6 times a day for weight training but if you are eating 3 meals a day the 2 scoop is perfect for you. highly recommendGoes Well With:No Fat Chocolate Syrup
First time trying these so l brought a small pouch just so that l can try them first time l wasted it could not get it right.... Second time yes l have got it.. These pancakes are so beautiful.. I have just ran out and will be ordering a big bag l have them with fruit and l don't feel guilty eating them as l have a sweet tooth.. Nice product... You can add a egg 🍳 Goes Well With:Fruit.. peanut butter.. Blueberries
The pancakes are really good, and super easy to make, even for someone who is usually catastrophic at making them. However I found them to have quite a sweet aftertaste (I got the golden syrup flavour) so next time I would try a different flavour. Otherwise would strongly recommend!
Its all about getting the right mixture with this pancake mix ignore the instructions one scoop and just 100ml of milk is enough for 2 or 1 12" pancake enough for me for breakfast golden syrup tastes great with some frozen cranberries and honey.Goes Well With:cranberries honey maple syrup sliced bannna
