I bought a small bag to try in chocolate, it's delicious, have just ordered a big bag of chocolate and golden syrup Goes Well With:Honey, fruit
As other reviewers have said, very tasty once you perfect your own formula. Good to see others putting up what they put with theirs so here's mine. I usually do the mixture the night before and have it for breakfast as I am up at 0445 on work days. Firstly I put approx 250ml of semi-skimmed milk in my smoothie mixer. Then I use 2 scoops (50g) of pancake mix and 2 scoops (80g) of instants oats and 2 tsp of cinnamon. I mix for around 20secs. This will make 2 medium pancakes for me. A few mins each side on the frying pan and all is perfect. I top the first pancake with 1 chopped banana and some MySyrup. The second pancake I spread a small amount of Nutella on and 1 tsp of honey and place on top of the first pancake. I may replace the Nutella with the chocolate MySyrup at some point to This is a great start to my day every day! The whole portion is approx 850kcal, 115g Carbs, 19g Fat (6g sat fat) and 52g Protein. Love it.Goes Well With:MyProtein Instant Oats, banana, MySyrup, cinnamon, honey, nutella.
Worst idea ever, doesn't even makes a pancake just a foul tasting hot sludge. Not worth the money or the calories. Goes Well With:Salmonella
I was looking forward to my protein pancake mix delivery, however, a few reviews stated that they taste like cardboard and I can agree with that. I bought the maple syrup flavour and the smell itself puts you off wanting to eat them.
I originally purchased the 200g of maple syrup which I tried for the first time and absolutely loved, going back to the buy the 1kg. It mixes pretty well, I only use a large scoop with milk for a decent sized pancake and added chopped bananas with nutella or protein peanut butter. Flavor is great, a little dry but super filling and very high in protein. Would recommend for breakfast or snack.Goes Well With:Bananas Blueberries Protein peanut butter Nutella
I was looking forward to trying this mix as a different breakfast. Unfortunately I won't be trying them again. The powder blended well enough in a blender and the batter looked and smelt good, but once cooked, well, I'll try to be polite- it was like trying to eat a mouse mat? A cooked rubber glove? The texture was so rubbery as to make eating the pancakes very unpleasant. Which brings me to the taste. We had maple syrup flavour which was far too (artificially) sweet and very cloying - one or two mouthfuls was definitely more than enough. So sorry, MyProtein, a big thumbs down from me for this particular product.
I tried other brands but compared to them MyProtein pancake is the best. Its tasty, it has good price and I can make beautiful pancakes with it. 1.5dl milk (0.5% fat) 1 egg pour the half of it, place slices of banana inside it, heat slowly on low temperature, when its good flip it, voala. Golden syrup and unvlavoured is both goodGoes Well With:peanut butter, syrup
The pancakes did taste rather nice, once I made them. However they were difficult to make, had no instructions on the packet, and I am not the greatest at making pancakes at the best of times. You do get a reasonable amount of pancakes for the price though, so for their value they are a good choice. For the price they are not too bad, especially if you are adapt at cooking, but for me, I would not buy them again.
Got these as my partner and I work from 8 to 5 Monday to Friday and was looking for something to make the night before as eating and making breakfast in the morning is such a rush. I was not let down at all it mixes well and tastes great. DO NOT BUY if u are expecting these to be identical to normal pancakes high in carbs and calories as they do taste slightly more dense and a little on the dry side but I love them. They fill me up untill my next meal and I feel like iv had a cheeky snack. Remember these are a healthy alternative to a full fat pancake!! They won't taste exactly the same. Goes Well With:Banana on top.
Absolutely love these, mix well, taste great, not dry at all. Full of flavour.Goes Well With:Cooked mashed up banana on top
Keeps me full until my next meal so no need to snack on rubbish in-between,great work mp.it's a pleasure to be a long serving satisfied customer.Goes Well With:Peanut butter and a knife n fork and a big smile 😊
Tastes like real pancakes. Used 150ml milk and Splenda sugar alternative. Goes Well With:Splenda sugar
Disgusting!...... got maple syrup, texture like eating cardboard - disgustingly sweet aftertaste mix up some egg whites and oats..... wont break the bank like this garbage Goes Well With:the BIN
First time making these but will definately be ordering again. I usually make my own protein pancakes from scratch; with protein powder, banana, milk, eggs... but these were far easier and overall less carbs! Flavour was good but was a little dry for my first attempt, I'm sure they'll get better once I play about with it, maybe adding some crushed bananas. Overall though was really pleased with the product and would definately reccomebe the maple flavour - great for a sweet snack at anytime!Goes Well With:Bacon & maple syrup!
Just baked 100g of this stuff in the oven, 4 Scoops 300ml liquid half water, half skimmed milk added some cinnamon. Small baking tin greased with coconut oil. Gas mark 6, 30 minutes. Amazing cake for a pudding served with protein custard.Goes Well With:Protein Custard
Tastes good, easy to cook BUT they are VERY VERY DRY could hardly swallow them.Goes Well With:Sugar free syrup
Purchased this after reading the reviews stating how good it was. I bought the maple syrup flavour and have made them a couple of times without much success. They are VERY sweet and once cooked, I can only liken the texture to that of compressed foam. They do look like pancakes but are rather flat. Wouldn't buy again.
I really wasn't expecting to leave a 1 star rating but I cant get to grips with this stuff. The mix sticks to a non stick pan even with a little oil. When you crack how to stop them sticking to the pan and manage to cook one, the Golden Syrup mix is sooo dry its unreal. I even added Golden Syrup from a tin and on another I tried Lemon and Sugar but still way too dry so its going in the bin.Goes Well With:The bin
I always take everything i buy from myprotein with a pinch of salt, expecting it not to taste particularly amazing but good for me. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the pancake mix for the first time! I added two scoops of the mix, with two scoops-full of water, and fried. It's so quick and easy, and the consistency, taste, everything is almost like a real pancake! So tasty! I added the sugar-free myprotein chocolate sauce on top to finish it off! Definitely recommend, especially as it's not too pricey.Goes Well With:Sugar-free chocolate sauce/any pancake toppings.
Don't bother with the flavoured ones just get unflavoured and buy the toffee flavour drops taste amazing. Mix with 150ml milk non stick pan with unsalted butter perfect every time keep them small to prevent burning or over cooking them.Goes Well With:Toffee flavour drops
