These bars are like nougat and as such they stick to the wrapper and then your mouth. Don't waste you money with these because if you do and you don't like them you can't return them. Will go elsewhere in future
Inedible, tasteless, painful to eat. Had two bars and have given up. Waste of money. Goes Well With:It doesn't.
They don't taste nice the apple and cinnamon was disgusting and it's worse heated upGoes Well With:Nothing
Got these to satisfy my sweet cravings without having loads of sugar and carbs, actually think they're really tasty. Obviously they are not a cadburys dairy milk, but definitely do the job, I even like the slightly tough texture. Have tried chocolate and apple and cinnamon. Think chocolate is the better one.
I've tried both strawberry and vanilla almond flavours and neither are anything special. The bars are distinctly bland in flavour, however are fairly priced which does provide some value.
Great nutritional value and price. It's a protein bar so it's not going to be the tastiest of snacks nor the best consistency. I would advise against getting lemon cheesecake to anyone fussy with flavours however the flavour doesn't bother me and the whole pack got eaten will be trying different flavours.
Just get it. Any flavor. When I eat it I have an outer body experience where I literally envy myself.
Bought these as a change to the usual protein cookies I buy. I'm sorry to admit that they're probably the worst 'protein bars' I've ever tried. Literally like chewing a rubber that eventually dissolves with a bit of perseverance. The taste was ok but the consistency was dreadful. I won't be buying them again but obviously some people like them as other decent reviews persuaded me to get them. Time to place another order for protein cookies!Goes Well With:Nothing
I bought these in the 'peanut caramel' and 'cookies and cream' flavours. They are really difficult to chew, however it is actually very pleasant to chew them for long, as it helps with sugar cravings and is satisyfying. In my opinion, the 'cookies and cream' flavour tastes bad, but the 'peanut caramel' flavour is OK. Unfortunately, the bars made my IBS worse; I had : stomach cramps, constipation and a bloated, gassy belly. As far as I know, it was caused from too much fibre in those bars. It's nice that ' my protein' has made some zero-sugar bars, though comparing to 'Quest' bars they are not as tasty. Goes Well With:Coffee or tea.
Great product. I bought the chocolate and lemon cheesecake, only tried the lemon cheesecake right now but it taste great. Not too sweet and not an overpowering lemon flavour. I will certainly buy the flavour again and I cant wait to try the chocolate now.
I've tried a rival protein bar which was lovely in taste & texture so expected similar from myprotein. However, I was very disappointed. I bought the caramel peanut flavour and it tastes, well, weird. Would not buy again although may try another flavour
I was looking for a convenient and tasty way to increase my daily protein intake, especially while on the go at work and in between meals. Having read the reviews I decided to try the caramel peanut and the chocolate flavours. The caramel peanut seemed to have a bit of a bitter after taste but the chocolate is SO Nice. The protein/carbs macro is perfect for me. I think they're good value and will continue to incorporate these into my diet.
The bars are like rubber, poor taste and sticky. I wouldn't recommend.
I tried the lemon cheesecake. Was a bit unsure when I opened the packet as I e never tried a protein bar before but Nom nom and plenty proteinGoes Well With:On the go snack
These bars are so tasty I bought peanut & caramel I have just ordered 2 more boxes my sister said the almond ones are lovely too so I have bought Almond & Peanut & Caramel can't wait to try almond bars. Low in carbs these are my savier seems I am on a 60% carb diet at minute.
Bought both the caramel peanut flavour & lemon cheesecake flavour. The caramel peanut flavour tasted alright on first bite but quickly moved to a very chemical taste, i struggle to eat a whole bar. The lemon cheesecake flavour is alright, quite a mild flavouring too it. Other reviews on these bars being very chewy made me unsure about them but i'd say they are similar texture to most other bars i have tried.
I firstly tried the caramel peanut and loved it! Even my son and mum love them! I've since ordered all flavours and find them a great alternative to other snack foods.
Cant expect a huge amount of taste from a protein bar, the macros are good. If they want to rocket sales, MyProtein should focus on a recipe closer to the taste and texture of Quest Bars, which taste far better for the same calories/amount of protein. Good for on the go though and nicer warmed up for 10 seconds.Goes Well With:The Microwave
Love the taste of these bars, especially the strawberry one. The chocolate is a little tougher to get your teeth through but the rest is fine. Plenty of fibre in these bars.
I like both the Peanut Caramel and the Lemon Cheesecake. Easy to eat, super protein source that's ideal as a snack.
