Basically I have the same review like below. Please sell unflavoured hydrolysed collagen, I am not keen on using not natural sugars like the one which are used for flavoured product. Goes Well With:Coconut milk green tea Frappuccino
I have used numerous brands of high quality collagen powders over the years and the benefits are consistent - significant improvement in joint pains, skin, hair and nail quality and growth, and subtle but enhanced relaxation. Hydrolysate is the best because mixability is so easy. However, as many other reviewers here have said, MP need to offer this unflavoured. The chocolate flavour is vile and I binned the whole packet after a few uses, returning to one of the other unflavoured brands I use. There really is no need for flavouring as collagen hydrolysate has almost no flavour at all! The price is really good, so when MP decide to listen to customers and release an unflavoured version I will regularly buy this from themGoes Well With:Any liquids, hot or cold
I hot collagen to substitute whey protein. I am happy all in all, it could be mixing better, however it is ok. Please have options without sucralose. Sucralose is poison. I know it is cheap but still...Goes Well With:Avocado, almond milk, any fruits
Great product but please take note of all the comments and stock unflavoured!Goes Well With:Oats
I was so pleased to find this collagen at such an affordable price compared to some others. I won't buy again until an unflavoured version is released. I've learned more about sucralose and don't want to put that in my body. Also the taste is not pleasant at all, even with a banana and some berries mixed in. I would love a flavourless variety to add to things. Otherwise delivery and customer service excellent. Only started using this weekend so can't really comment otherwise. Goes Well With:Fruit
Great tasting proteinGoes Well With:Mixes well with water or try Almond milk
Let me start of by saying anything with collagen in it makes me a happy chappy! Not only is it good for the recovery and building of muscle fibres. It's also good for the skin and joints too! I suffer with joint pain, due to my manual intensive work and not to mention hammering the gym 6 days a week to get them gains. So that right there is a good starting point. I'm currently in my cutting phase (getting lean for you newbies). and this stuff is perfect, if you want to build lean defined muscle or, just loose weight with a controlled diet. 0 grams of fats, carbs and sugars! And 21g of protein. It's quality stuff especially when trying to stay away from carbs, saturates and sugar. And trust me when I say a lot of protein are stuffed with them, always read the labels kids! And without a doubt this protein has helped me out no end with bloating. I bloat on whey protein but the collagen he's the digestive system so no problems there either! Big thumbs up for this product. Goes Well With:myamino complex
Makes a nice chocolate shake, half milk half hot water. feeling a difference using it for Fibromyalgia.Goes Well With:milk
Same as everyone else, I think this is way way WAY too sweet!! I have tried several of your chocolate flavoured proteins and none are as sickly sweet as this one.... Actually makes this very unpleasant to drink!! This is my first time trying this so I can't comment on the product's effectiveness yet, I have heard good things about hydrolyzed collagen so hoping I see results soon or this will be going in the bin just because it tastes so nasty. Please listen to your customers and create an unflavoured one.... or at least use less sweetener!!
Decided to try collagen to help speed up my injury recovery - knee tendons mainly. Well its only been a couple of weeks so too early to tell yet but what I have noticed is a massive reduction in DOMS, as in virtually none! As a 55 yr old CrossFitter DOMS has been part of my life pretty much day in, day out, but this last couple of weeks it has all gone, to the extent that I have added 2 more training sessions per week. I take one scoop Impact Whey plus one scoop Collagen a couple of hours after an early am workout. So far, so good.Goes Well With:Impact Whey
It is a nice product. I suppose it does what it should do - I have only used it for a week, so no results yet. The taste is a bit strange and mixability is not that great - it needs some time to mix up, but there is no residue afterwards, so overall is very good.Goes Well With:unsweetened almond milk
Best price for a product of this sort I've ever found but I feel it needs some nutritional info on the pack like the amino acid profile and the source of the collagen, I.e. is it from grass fed cows? I doubt it for the price but MyProtein really need to include this info so we can make an informed choice. Agree with other reviewers, please make an unsweetened version as it's overly sweet and sweeteners not greatly healthy anyway. Mixes really well in water, good product, could be great with sufficient info and unsweetened taste!
It is good value for price. I bought collagen with strawberry flavour but The taste is too much sweet even bittersweet and sweeteners in this product are really useless. Please start make tasteless version. I think more people will be happy and choose this version.
Lovely product that I would consider buying if it had no additives like sucralose or other flavors. For now I'll stick to Great Lakes Collagen, but from the day you have an unflavoured version... I'll be buying a bunch!Goes Well With:Liquids
shame most manufacturers and resellers are now concerned with quick profits rather than fine-tuning their products. another one I had to give a try following my cousin passing some of his stock to me after he could not bare the flavours anymore. i am not sure where this misconception that unless supplements are super sweet , no-one will want them - quite frankly - the times of weider brothers who made millions on reselling sugar bags advertised as gainers are long gone. we also have a sufficient research to support the use of natural sweeteners such as stevia and move away from toxic sucralose. Yes, indeed, the way people cope with toxins ingested is individual but as we are now beginning to understand the long term effects of substances such as sucralose there is every reason to stop using them even if just as a prevention. Goes Well With:?
MP, please listen to your loyal customers and provide an option of purchasing this excellent product without sucralose!
Fantastic product! First time I've used used it but very impressed Goes Well With:Protein cookies
I think this stuff has worked pretty well for my bad knees, but really wish we could get an unflavoured version without the sucralose!
Excellent product, though maybe tastes too sweet.
The product I would say this is the best On the market for Collagen anywhere in Europe. Also yes it is sweet but at the same time stop complaining and asking for Unsweetened version as I can tell you there is an unsweetened version which will cost you 6 times as much as one of thise. So this is value for money also. On top of that I mainly use it for the Collagen and for me it works in helping tightening skin with cooperation with body butters and the sweetener is no way harmful for you also so all in all best in series if your looking for Collagen supplement Goes Well With:Coffee, cereal, shakes, ice water
