Wanted something quick easy filling and if course containing protein for breakfast ( that I could eat in the car)... Not always keen in bread but this did the job. Tastes good, quite a heavy bread but not so heavy that you can't have x2 slices. Tried it toasted but preferred it un toasted... Keeps me going till 12ish...Goes Well With:Peanut butter
It's such a great bread high in protein
Excellent good flavour & goes with everthing 😊😊Goes Well With:Peanut butter or Jam anything really yummy 😊
The bread is bread but with a kick. Its very tasty and fills me up first thing. I split half the loaf and put one half in the bread bin the other in the freezer. once the first half is finished i take a piece out of the freezer each day and toast eat. Works perfectlyGoes Well With:I have it with Smoked salmon every morning
This bread is rather heavy and didnt have a very pleasant texture. Overall price is not justified.
I run and work out to stay lean and be strong and follow a high protein low carb low fat diet. But I love bread. So this is perfect for me - an occasional treat, utterly delicious. I've put it in the freezer and take out one or two slices at a time. Heaven. Goes Well With:Everything that ordinary bread goes well with.
This bread is the best I have tasted just wish is not as expensive!Goes Well With:Peanut butter!
I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. It's great toasted I haven't tried it as a sandwich yet. Good for those who don't eat meat and need to boost their protein intakeGoes Well With:Beans and tofu sausages
Anyone wanting to get that extra protein while at work this is perfect. No access to any microwaves at work during the day so this is perfect for lunches and is proper tastey too.
Taste was good however the bread wentboff after 2 days full of blue mould and at 3.99 I expect better quality. Threw away 3/4 of a packet. Waste of money.
Freezes well, hearty and tasty. Just over 300 calories for two slices so let's hope you're not racking up too may sarnies, but great for soldiers with a couple of eggs. Also makes great eggy bread with egg whites and 1 cal spray. Just add some lean bacon rashers and some sugar free maple syrup and wham bam thankyou mam; a delicious American style breakfast. Goes Well With:Egg whites (eggy bread), boiled eggs.
aamazing bread, quite dense but good flavour especially when toasted! Goes Well With:peanut butter!
You can't even tell this bread has extra protein in it, perhaps not great for cutting but a really great tasting bread. Will definately be buying it again! Really really nice.Goes Well With:Any sandwich filling, as toast, with eggs, or even just alone!
Love this bread! Tastes fresh, great flavour, hearty and filling.
2 slices of bread gives you 30g of protein & 30g of carbs, not only tasty but an excellent snack when bulking. Not advisable if cutting as you have to keep on top of your macros. Goes Well With:Peanut butter or high protein cheese.
I swopped my usually granary bread for this to try and fill me up whilst dieting and increase my protein. The bread has done both lovely tasting and very filling stops me snacking great for a sandwich or toasted would recommend to any bread lovers Goes Well With:Cheese peanut butter
this stuffs great if your trying to you your protein. but it is expensive for a loaf of bread. I generally freeze it and use as I go. Goes Well With:Tuna and cottage cheese
Great to find a high protein bread As on the bodycoach plan Taste great and filling too
If you're a carb addict like myself. This is a good replacement for bread. Tastes great and us really good toasted. Ideal for those times when you just have got to have some carbs. I order when there are 3 for 2 offers on so keeps the costs down. Freezes well and defrosts quickly, either as a whole loaf or slice by slice. Goes Well With:Poached and Scrambled Eggs
It's an unfortunate fact that, as a man nearing his 30's, keeping the belly at bay requires a little more effort than it did 10 years ago! Lets face it, with work, kids, gym and everything in between, diet always takes the back foot. My personal diet conundrum has always stemmed from high carb foods. Realistically, the best way for me to keep the pounds off is watching my macros, and restricting the quantity of carbs that I eat. In reality, this means bread, pasta, potato, rice have to be consumed in small quantities, and not make up the bulk of any meal. However, when you're trying to get multiple meals a day, and the choice is high protein sources only, it can get a bit stale*. . . Carb'y foods help to add variety to a diet, but I often find it difficult to integrate any without them warping my macros beyond recognition. Sure, I could have toast for breakfast or a sandwich for lunch, as long as I don't have any carbs for the rest of the day. So when something like this comes along, it's a godsend. I can easily incorporate 30g of carbs into my daily macros without it sending everything else out of whack, and this is coupled with a big dollop of protein to boot. Add some chicken, or high protein cheese, between two slices, and you have yourself a perfectly balanced, low carb, high protein meal. Taste? This bread is phenomenal. It looks like bread, smells like bread, tastes like a decent wholemeal variety and toasts like bread. It also came with a very long shelf life > 1 week after delivery. It's more chewy than "standard" bread. But honestly, it's not excessively so, and to be expected as with all high protein foods. We're always told to chew food more before swallowing anyway! If you want a real treat, add 100g of My Protein's High Protein Cheese and grill. Guilt free cheese on toast! You won't be disappointed! * Bread pun anyone?Goes Well With:HIGH PROTEIN CHEESE - LOW FAT
