Fructose is a natural sugar found in a variety of foods such as fruit, honey and vegetables. Although Fructose is a form of sugar it is regarded as a low Glycemic Index carbohydrate.
Its low rating on the GI scale means Fructose is digested over a prolonged period of time resulting in a less profound impact on blood sugar compared to other sugars such as Dextrose.
Fructose can be taken by anyone looking to increase daily carbohydrate intake, particularly those competition in endurance based exercise.

This is cheap and seems to work but is way too sweet for my tastebuds.
I'm still on the fence with Fructose, hi 5 is definitely better.
Purchased to make up my own 2:1 Maltodextrin/Fructose energy drink. Found it has been great for my 50+ mile bike rides and looking forward to it helping me through Ironman training in 2014. Works out exceptional value compared to buying overpriced commercial off the shelf enrgy drinks. Goes Well With:Maltodextrin
